Easily my favourite Singaporean Gothic novel filled with ghosts and magic and a lot of history. A story of a Chinese immigrant who can communicate with the spirits and with help of Malay necromancy helps rid the island of its Japanese invaders and lead the nation into glorious prosperity.

A delightful collection of ghost stories tapping into a variety of local superstitions, customs and beliefs which seem to govern the lives and deaths of Chinese Singaporeans.

A collection of ghost stories apparently told over a period of three days and nights at a wake for an elderly Singaporean lady. Perhaps not the greatest literary achievement but will give you a rather authentic experience of what Singaporean ghost lore is really like.
